All new - well forgotten old... and in my case proven. I'll note in the recipe there is a tab of potatoes and cabbage after tomato. This is not a bug, the recipe is exactly due to this the potatoes do not fall apart. As my family was not accepted there is cabbage stew, don't know why, but when she married, it turned out that this is one of the favorite dishes of her husband, so I was looking for a compromise, and so the children ate and a husband to please. Cooking
Meat cut small cubes and fry on high heat until Golden color, I slightly added some salt at this stage.
Add the chopped onions and carrots, stir, lower the heat slightly, fry the vegetables for 10-15 minutes.
Add tomato paste, saute a couple of minutes.
Potatoes cut into cubes, cabbage, finely chop and add to the meat. Season with salt and pepper, mix well, lower the heat to low, cover, simmer for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, testing the potatoes, she usually still quite hard, again stir and leave to stew until ready.
