Duck breast topped with lemon caramel
Incredibly delicious, juicy and quick! Everyone who loves duck with sweet sauces, I ask here! Lemon, sweet and sour caramel, just perfect for a succulent breast. I served just with gravy, I think that garnish is unnecessary. The sauce takes one minute generally, so to make a more detailed step-by-step failed, but I hope everything is clear described. Ingredients

  • Breast of duck

    4 piece

  • Lemon

    1 piece

  • Sugar

    3 Tbsp

  • Olive oil

    3 Tbsp

  • Salt

    0.5 tsp

  • Black pepper

    1 g

Breast wash, dry towel and cut along the skin crosswise. Season with salt and pepper.

Fry the breast in olive oil. Once the skin side for 4 minutes, then on the other side for 3 minutes. Transfer to a baking sheet and send in a preheated oven 180-190C. on 15 minutes. Then remove and wrap in foil for 5 minutes until we prepare the sauce.

The sauce is pretty simple and fast. In oil, where roasted breast, add sugar and boil on high heat until caramel color. Squeeze lemon juice and add half lemon peel, mix quickly and shut off. Lemon caramel is ready.
