Cooking
For preparation of this pie I used the recipe for Swiss vegetable pastry, products of which are little puff. In a bowl sift the flour with the salt.
Ice water (I pour cold water and put for 20 minutes in the freezer) combine with vegetable oil.
Beat the butter with water to form a white foam — emulsion. The colder the water is, the better will be the emulsion.
Pour the oil emulsion in the flour.
Thoroughly knead the dough. If necessary, add more flour to the dough turned out thick and does not stick to hands.
Detachable form for baking (I 26 cm) to cover with baking paper and spread the dough, forming a small bumpers.
Apples good wash, remove the core and cut into slices.
I put slices in cold water diluted with lemon juice so they do not darkened.
Distribute the Apple slices over the dough. Send it into the oven, preheated to 180 gr., for 30-35 minutes. After remove from the oven and allow to cool.
While cake cools, prepare the jelly filled. For this purpose the ladle to pour water (100 ml.) and add the marmalade (I have with a taste of melon, orange and Apple, with a content of gelling agent pectin). Bring to boil and constantly stir until the jelly is completely dissolved.
Then 50 ml. of water to dissolve the starch and a thin stream pour in the jelly mixture. Boil until thick. The jelly mixture should flow off the spoon in a thick stream.
Pour the jelly mixture cake and send in the fridge to harden.
