Chicken baked with dried apricots, raisins and cashews
The chicken turns out very soft, tender, extremely flavorful and juicy. A minimum of effort-and a wonderful delicious lunch is ready!

Ingredients

  • Chicken

    1 piece

  • Dried apricots

    1 handful

  • Raisins

    1 handful

  • Cashews

    1 handful

  • Sour cream

    4 Tbsp

  • Tomatoes in own juice

    4 Tbsp

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

  • Seasoning

  • Semi-dry red wine

    50 ml

Here it is—the beautiful chicken! I have a home, a yellow one weighing in at 1.5 kg.

Chicken a good wash, dry with paper towels. Cut into pieces a La carte. Best assistant in this case-sharp scissors for cutting poultry. Prepared pieces salt and pepper, sprinkle with dried herbs.

Thoroughly rinse the raisins and dried apricots, cashews grind not too finely, dried apricots cut into 4-6 pieces.

In a small bowl to combine sour cream with tomatoes in own juice, add the wine, mix thoroughly.

The chicken pieces and fry on high heat until Golden brown and put in a fireproof pan, sprinkle top with mixture of nuts, raisins and dried apricots, pour over sauce, cover with foil. Put in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, then remove foil and leave to roast for another 20-30 minutes (depending on the abilities of the oven and readiness of the chicken.)
