Ragout of asparagus and rice
One of the most beloved and popular Greek dishes. I'm not presenting something new, but very useful, simple and very tasty. I hope that the dish will appreciate and those who do not know, will see him.

Ingredients

  • Asparagus

    3 piece

  • Figure

    1 cup

  • The Apium graveolens Dulce

    1 plug

  • Carrots

    2 piece

  • Tomato

    2 piece

  • Olive oil

    0.5 cup

  • Salt

  • Sugar

    1 tsp

  • Water

Wash, peel and cut the asparagus circles. Peel the carrots and cut into slices. Celery cut into circles.

Heat oil in a saucepan. Spread the prepared vegetables and simmer about 10-15 minutes, stirring, on medium heat.

Add the rice and water. Stir. The water should close the dish.

Add chopped tomato and parsley, sugar, salt, pepper and stir. Bring to a boil and close the lid. Prepare 25-20 min.
