Florentine rice cake
I have a lot of cookbooks, but among them books Jamie Oliver - unconditional favourites. But the most favorite is "My Italy". In it I found the recipe for this lovely cake. He is very sweet, tasty and amazingly flavorful. Bon appetit!

Ingredients

  • Milk

Make the dough. 120 g cold butter RUB on a coarse grater

RUB with flour to the state of oily crumbs. Then add the zest of one orange, sugar powder, yolks, vanilla seeds and milk. Knead. On the form put the parchment, roll out the dough, put on the bottom of the form, forming the sides. Put an hour in the refrigerator

Prepare the filling. Melt in a pan 50 g of butter, add vanilla seeds and rice. Stirring occasionally, cook for about 5 minutes. Then add wine and cook until it has evaporated. Then pour in the cream, zest and sugar and cook for about 15 minutes.

Wait until the rice is slightly cool and beat eggs

Take out the base from the fridge and put in a preheated 180 degree oven for 15 minutes. Take out, spread the rice stuffing, cook about 20 minutes. Take out from the oven, decorate with the zest and powdered sugar, if desired. Bon appetit!
