Cake with date cream sauce
Warm and delicious homemade pie for tea. The perfect winter evening.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    300 g

  • Butter

    100 g

  • Sugar

    200 g

  • Chicken egg

    2 piece

  • Cards

    300 g

  • Water

    1 cup

  • Soda

    0.5 tsp

  • Leavening agent

    0.5 tsp

  • Vanilla sugar

    1 tsp

  • Salt

    1 pinch

  • Brown sugar

    140 g

  • Cream

    250 ml

Dates to be cleaned from bones and cut into 4 parts. Pour 1 Cup of boiling water with dissolved baking soda. Leave for 20 minutes.

Eggs, remove from refrigerator and immediately begin to whisk, gradually powdering sugar. Whisk until frothy. Melt the butter and add it to the scrambled eggs. Slowly pour the flour with the baking powder while continuing to mix the dough. To pump water from the dates and pour it into the dough. Add salt and vanilla (or vanilla sugar). The consistency will be the average yield. Remove the whisk and add the dates. Gently stir with a spoon. Allow to stand for a few minutes. Mix everything again. We shift the dough in a greased form and send the cake for 50 minutes in a preheated 170 gr. the oven.

While the cake is cooked start to make the sauce. In a saucepan pour 140gr. brown sugar, pour 250ml. cream and put the vanilla pod (or just fall asleep vanilla/vanilla sugar). Stirring wait until it boils. Once the sauce is boiling, diminish the fire and tormented for 2 minutes. The sauce is ready.

The finished pie take out from the oven. Give a little cool down and pinned with a fork.

Fill it top with half of sauce. Let it soak up.

Actually all. I recommend the cake before serving, just to warm up and every piece individually to pour the remaining sauce.
