Description
Very tasty, very tender, moderately sweet pie! Flavor adds the presence of Puerto Rican rum and pineapple! A wonderful treat! Fine and hot with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and cold with a couple of spoonfuls of the rum glaze... mmmmm!!!

Cooking
To prepare glaze, in a small container, mix sugar with one glass of rum, bring to a boil, stir so the sugar is dissolved, and the amount of liquid decreased to one-third of the original volume. Add the butter and pineapple chunks, stir and let the glaze covers each piece.
Spread the pineapple slices on the bottom of the square, trying to keep the frosting left in the tank.
For the dough, RUB the butter with the sugar.
Remains knead the dough. By the way, I love it when everything is simple and the dough is mixed just spoon - very convenient! This is the case.
Spread the batter on the pineapple, sprinkle with chopped nuts. Put into the oven for an hour at 175 degrees. Readiness is checked with a wooden stick, which should be dry from the middle of the pie.
