Cooking
Dried fruit (I had dried apricots, raisins, prunes) wash, cut into pieces.
Squeeze the juice of 1/2 orange and grate the zest.
In a bowl (the Bank) mix the dried fruit, zest and juice of orange, add brandy (rum, liqueur), again mix well. Leave to marinate overnight, the main thing that the fruit has absorbed moisture, but ideally need a week.
Prepare products for the test and dried fruits.
The softened butter vzbit with sugar, add eggs, beat well.
In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder and spices.
Sift into the egg mixture, mix well.
Roll the dried fruits in 1-2 tbsp of flour so they are well covered with flour shell, it is necessary for good distribution of berries in the dough.
Add dried fruit to the dough.
Put the dough in a greased form ( I have two:silicone round, small rectangular)bake at 140-150 degrees for about 1.5 hours (if you make one big form will take about 2 hours). The finished cake remove from the form, cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar. You can eat immediately, but better to wrap in paper (foil), put in a cool place (refrigerator) overnight (ideally it's better to wait 1-2 weeks, during this time, the well-soaked fruitcake and dried fruits will give your taste and aroma).
