Portuguese Easter bread
Sweet option. Flavorful, very tender bread with balls of marzipan. Fennel and cinnamon create a gorgeous tandem. While baking received another session of aromatherapy, the smell was just awesome. Recipe found on the Internet, there is one and the same option at different sites. Set the source failed.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    250 g

  • Milk

    150 ml

  • Butter

    100 g

  • Yeast

    1 tsp

  • Marzipan

    100 g

  • Sugar

    25 g

  • Cinnamon

    0.5 tsp

  • Fennel

    0.5 Tbsp

  • Salt

In warm milk dissolve the yeast cake, and one tablespoon of flour, until the dough begins to rise.

When the dough is ready, sift the remaining flour, mix it with salt, pour the yeast mixture and add the sugar. Knead the dough it will be very cool, but it's not terrible because you still need to add oil. The dough is kneaded about 10 minutes.

The butter melts, add cinnamon and fennel, pour the test.

Knead the dough with the butter until then, until it becomes smooth and homogeneous, it will be soft and tender. Leave the dough for proofing for 2 hours. Shortly before the end of time the oven, turn on heating at 190 degrees.

Coming up the dough, knead some more, form from it a round bread with a diameter of 16 cm, it is convenient to do this directly on the baking paper, I got a diameter of 20cm. and the bread turned out low. Marzipan divide into 4 parts roll the balls, put on the dough pressing them. Grease the top with milk, put in to bake for 25-30 minutes.
