Description

Spicy sauce-marmalade
Perfect complement for meat dishes. The sauce is very sweet!

Ingredients

  • Cherry tomatoes

    3 kg

  • Sugar

    1.5 kg

  • Vinegar

    100 ml

  • Basil

  • Apple

    8 piece

  • Sweet pepper

Cooking

Tomatoes wash, allow to dry, then cut in half.

Put on a large fire (the sugar needs to melt). Gently stir to boil for about 8-10 minutes.

Peel the apples, place them in a blender and puree (I baked and rubbed through a sieve).

Add the puree to the tomatoes. Pour in the vinegar. Cook 5 minutes.

Chop Basil, put in a saucepan. Mix well. To leave in the morning on the stove.

In the morning, to taste, if necessary add more vinegar and red pepper. To boil, cook on medium heat for 10-15 minutes. Pour into sterilized jars. Store in a cool dark place. In the fridge the sauce will thicken.
