Biscuit with red currant
Summer is berry time! Berries delight us with a variety of flavors. In summer you can feast on fresh berries and prepare them to various dishes. Galeta is one of my favorite pies. The finest crispy batter, berry fruit filling... Biscuit with red currant really pleased us with its taste.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    150 g

  • Oat flakes

    50 g

  • Sugar

    6 Tbsp

  • Yolk egg

    1 piece

  • Red currants

    230 g

  • Corn starch

    2 Tbsp

  • Butter

    120 g

  • Water

    3 Tbsp

Cooking

To the sifted flour add the oat bran cereal, sugar.

Mix well. Add the chilled butter, diced.

Grind hands crumbs.

Add water and knead the dough. The obtained dough is wrapped in plastic wrap and put in refrigerator for 20 minutes.

Clean the black currants and wash, dry. Add sugar, starch. Mix well. Remove the dough from the fridge, roll it out into a thin layer, put the rolled out dough on the oiled baking sheet. Spread berry filling, leaving the edges free.

Wrap the edges of the dough inward to form folds.

Bake in a preheated 200 degrees in the oven for 35 minutes.
