Delicious, quick side dish that is sure to diversify a fast table.

Ingredients

  • Vegetable oil

    2 Tbsp

  • Salt

    0.5 tsp

  • Water

    2.25 cup

  • Pearl barley

    0.3 cup

  • Bulgur

    0.3 cup

  • Buckwheat

    0.3 cup

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Garlic

    3 tooth

  • Bay leaf

    1 piece

  • Black pepper

We'll cook risotto in three types of cereals: buckwheat, barley, bulgur.

Buckwheat and pearl barley, rinsed under running water. If you use regular pearl barley, it should be soaked in cold water for 4 hours.

Onion and garlic chop.

Vegetable oil to heat in a pan (or the pan with a thick bottom), add the onion and garlic. Fry on medium heat for 3-4 min.

Add cereals.

Pour hot water or vegetable broth. Season with salt, add Bay leaf.

Bring to boil, cover and simmer 25-30 minutes, until the water has evaporated.

Ready to loosen the risotto with a fork and pepper.
