This pie I belong to the category of "adult" desserts, as often it like adults. This amazing recipe I saw in the book Jamie Oliver. Now he has become the favourite treat of all our friends. To be honest, this cake is not very budget, and products for it can be found everywhere. But if desired it can be adapted in its sole discretion. So, ricotta and mascarpone can be replaced more affordable curd cheese, vanilla pods - essence or vanilla, bitter chocolate, replace with milk. I represent the classic version. There is some magic in it, taste really amazing. You may have to try to make the cake exactly, you will not regret! Cooking time is given without baking, cooling the dough and freeze the cake.

It looks like the set of products for preparation of shortcrust pastry.

Mix chopped softened butter, icing sugar and salt.
Of butter, RUB the flour, yolks, zest and vanilla seeds. When the dough will look like large crumbs, add the cold milk. If desired, you can replace the water. The amount of milk I have every time different, two to six tablespoons. You want the dough "grabbed", but remained loose at the same time.
Roll the dough into a ball. Note that you need to knead it as little as possible, otherwise it will lose its crispness. The aroma at the moment of kneading the dough is amazing, what happens when baking - not to pass words!
The dough to flatten and shape such that a loaf, thick and short. Wrap in plastic wrap and put into the fridge for at least an hour. This shortbread dough is just amazing! It can be used for other pies.
