Pasta with bell peppers
Italy is in my heart and stomach forever. Italian pasta. Recipe 7. Pasta con peperoni.

Ingredients

  • Pasta

    500 g

  • Pepper

    4 piece

  • Onion

    2 piece

  • Tomato

    3 piece

  • Olive oil

    100 g

  • Basil

    1 Tbsp

  • Parsley

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

Cooking

1. Boil pasta (any shape) in boiling water with 1 tablespoon salt. Always leave a glass of water in which the cooked pasta in case you need a little to dilute the finished dish. Cut onion finely and saute, stirring constantly, in olive oil until Golden.

2. Cut the peppers in rings and add them to the onions.

3. Cover and simmer on low heat, stirring occasionally, until the peppers are soft and will not smell as finished.

4. Add the Basil, finely chopped tomatoes or tomato paste, salt, pepper, parsley to taste.

5. Stew for 5-10 minutes, add pasta, remove from heat to soak for 5-7 minutes. Sprinkle with grated cheese according to taste.
