Nettle is held in high esteem in folk and official medicine. Drugs made based on it, used for lowering blood sugar levels, improve metabolism, stimulate digestion, eliminate toxins, stop bleeding, anti-inflammatory and in other ways. However, there are contraindications – do not take nettle with varicose veins and thrombophlebitis due to the properties of nettle thickening blood, and also during pregnancy.
