Mint fragrant pears for the winter
It's time to gather the first harvest of pears. Offer the recipe is juicy, moderately sweet pear with a light lemon-mint flavor of summer.

Ingredients

  • Pear

    2.5 kg

  • Water

    2.5 l

  • Citric acid

    1 tsp

  • Sugar

    2.5 cup

  • Mint

    1 coup

Pears to sort, wash, remove the stalk.

Each pear several times to pierce with a skewer/toothpick.

In a wide basin to pour water, add sugar and citric acid. Bring to boil and lower the pears in the syrup.

Again bring to a boil, do not boil. Remove from heat, cover tightly with a lid, leave until cool.

The cooled pears to put in sterilized jars, the syrup bring to boil.

Mint (I dry) scalded with boiling water.

Mint leaves to put on the jars.

Pour the hot syrup, roll up, wrap until cool. Pears are ready!
