Lately I love to cook cold meats for slicing, not in the oven, and that way is to fry and then in the sauce. Experimenting with sauces and marinades. Today, pomegranate and garlic

Ingredients

  • Pork

    800 g

  • Garlic

    4 tooth

  • Pomegranate juice

    150 ml

  • Honey

    2 tsp

  • Liqueur

    50 ml

  • Salt

  • Vegetable oil

    2 Tbsp

  • Bay leaf

    3 piece

Pomegranate juice, garlic and honey put in a Cup and chop in a blender into a homogeneous mass

A piece of pork RUB with salt, drench with liquor and leave under film for 2-3 hours.

In a saucepan, heat the oil and put a piece of pork.

Fry the meat on all sides to "seal in" the juices.

Here pour in pomegranate juice, garlic and honey.

Simmer under the lid, add the Bay leaf, about 1 hour, periodically turning the piece. Let cool completely in the sauce.

The meat turns out very tender, delicious and somehow with a little smoke flavor. Where this fragrance - I did not understand, but everyone who tried it thought meat was smoked!
