Jam from cucumbers with mint
Good day, dear Powerade. Come visit, will treat you to an unusual, fragrant jam from cucumbers with mint.

Ingredients

  • Cucumber

    500 g

  • Sugar

    200 g

  • Mint

    1 coup

  • Galereya mix

    1 tsp

  • Lemon juice

    2 tsp

  • Water

    100 ml

Here are the products we need at an early stage. Cooking time I pointed without taking into account the infusion of cucumbers with sugar.

Cucumbers cut into approximately equal cubes, add 150 g of sugar and leave to stand for about 3-4 hours. Mint grind (here in the photo you can see approximately how much it should be) and brew 100 ml of boiling water. Leave to infuse.

After three hours, the cucumbers gave the juice, sugar is dissolved, put on medium heat, bring to a boil and cook for 20 minutes, during this time the cucumbers will change color.

Mint I shredded with the liquid in a blender (you can strain later, I did not). Here in the photo I showed some gelling mixture is used, it is necessary to mix with the remaining sugar (50 g). Juice I took ready, you can squeeze of fresh lemon.

After 20 minutes of cooking cucumbers in the syrup, add mint, Kvetina mixture of sugar and lemon juice. Bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes. Cooled. For fans, you can add lemon zest.
