Description
A traditional dish of many Turkic peoples. In fact, these are the same cakes made of unleavened dough, stuffed with meat and onions. As a filling, it is desirable to use fatty lamb but you can substitute beef or mixed to make stuffing, as I have. However, if Pets do not eat lamb, use half and half beef and pork. The meat can be cut into small pieces or mince. Recipes on the site a lot, but I decided to share.

Cooking
In a saucepan pour the milk (water), add salt and oil to boil.
Added to the mixture (brew) 1/2 Cup flour (100 g), stir, to avoid lumps, remove from heat and allow to cool.
Then to the mixture add the egg and sift the remaining flour. Knead the dough. The dough should not stick to hands. After kneading the dough, leave it for 1 hour. Within the hour again remember dough.
Prepare the stuffing. Finely chop the onion - the more onions, the better it turns out the stuffing. Onion mash, season with salt and pepper, optionally add other spices.
Mix the onions with the stuffing, if necessary, even salt. Mash the meat, add the milk and mix well again.
Divide the dough into equal parts. From each part roll out thin flatbread 1-2 mm thick. The pellet size depends on what you want to cook pasties. I have roughly 20 cm in diameter, i.e. large enough. On the cake spread 2 tbsp of the stuffing and fold the tortilla in half. A special knife to walk on the edge. To check that there were no gaps. If you have to close up.
In a deep pan with a thick bottom or cauldron pour oil, heated it, and then fry pasties on both sides until Golden brown.
