Once was in my refrigerator ROE deer meat. Vaguely knowing what to do with it and where to start, I got into the Internet. Many online recipes deer, but... it did not work out for me with them. The first time was "horror" (here and further evaluation of the dishes husband :) ), the second "nightmare". The third time I decided to trust my instincts and it turned out - "yummy". Recipe from the "simple but tasty"

Cooking
Soak the meat for 8-12 hours. Preferably several times to change the water. The meat is then remove the membranes and veins. Slice 2 large onions. In the pot with the meat add the onions and 3-4 tablespoons of mixed spices (suitable mixtures for barbecue, grilling or just for the meat). Add a little water. Stir to let the spices distributed over all pieces of meat. Leave to marinate for 6-12 hours in the refrigerator. Preferably several times to mix.
When the meat has marinated, place it in the cauldron (no onions). To add to the bottom of sunflower oil, 2-3 pea black pepper, 2-3 Bay leaves, 1 onion, roughly chopped, salt. Pour water on the fingers above the meat. After boiling, cook on low heat for 2.5 - 3 hours.
Serve with buckwheat, rice, baked potatoes, mashed potatoes. Very tasty and cold.
