Strawberry scones with poppy seeds
Offer to cook another delicious scones with strawberries and poppy seeds. They can be cooked with fresh and frozen strawberries.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Baking tray lay a baking paper. Sift the flour. In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add grated on a grater frozen butter, grind your fingers to the state of coarse crumbs. I for this purpose use a blender that really speeds up the process.

Separately combine cream, egg, lemon zest and poppy seeds.

Beat with a whisk.

In the flour pour in the liquid ingredients.

Stir with a rubber spatula or a silicone spatula.

Strawberries cut into small pieces. I used frozen, not fully thawed.

Gently stir the sliced strawberries into the batter, being careful not to crush.

The dough roll into a ball and transfer to prepared baking sheet. To form a flat disk with a diameter of 20-22 cm and cut with a sharp knife into 8 pieces. Sprinkle the top with sugar (optional). Carefully separate the sectors from each other at a distance of 3 cm. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until Golden brown. Finished rolls to cool and cover with frosting. For the glaze, mix the cream with the icing sugar. Squeeze the juice of 1 lemon. Add in frosting and mix.
