Apple scones
Great Apple scones with added bran from the Mistral. Delicious Breakfast for adults and children.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    120 g

  • Bran

    40 g

  • Leavening agent

    1 tsp

  • Cinnamon

    0.25 tsp

  • Salt

    1 pinch

  • Brown sugar

    25 g

  • Butter

    55 g

  • Yogurt

    100 ml

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Apple

    1 piece

  • Apple juice

    1 Tbsp

  • Nutmeg

    1 pinch

  • Powdered sugar

    80 g

Cooking

Prepare the ingredients. Sift in bowl the flour, baking powder, cinnamon. Add salt, sugar, bran, mix well.

Slice the butter and add to flour mixture. Chop butter with flour in croscope a knife or fork (until the pieces of butter will be about the size of a pea).

Separately mix the yogurt and egg. Peel and grate the Apple.

Add the egg with the yoghurt to the butter-flour mixture and gently mix until the dough begins to gather into a ball. Slightly knead the dough with your hands, then add the apples and stir so they are evenly raspredelenie in the dough ( Flour may need a little more, because the grated apples give you more juice than sliced)

Put the dough on a lightly covered flour surface, roll into a disk. Cut the disc into 8 sectors.

Spread on a baking tray lined with baking paper and greased with vegetable oil. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

For glaze, mix powdered sugar with Apple juice, add nutmeg, mix well. Pour the finished scones with glaze. Half of the scones I covered with icing, the other half just sprinkled with icing sugar. Bon appetit!
