Christmas orange-ginger muffin
Invited to a Christmas cake with amazing flavor of orange and ginger! This year we made homemade liqueurs, and after straining left soaked ginger slices and orange peel. You know, what to throw away such wealth was simply impossible! That's the idea of this aromatic festive cupcake. Help yourself!

Ingredients

  • Cheese

  • Starch

  • Flour almond

    3 ст. л.

  • Chicken egg

  • Margarine

  • Orange

  • Ginger

    50 г

  • Marzipan

  • Vanilla

  • Salt

  • Flavor

  • Rum

    3 ст. л.

  • Powdered sugar

  • Leavening agent

If there are no such liqueur candied fruits, you can simply remove the zest from the oranges (without the white part), sliced ginger, pour any alcoholic beverage and leave for a day to soak. Received oranges and ginger cut into thin stripes. Marzipan cut into cubes.

Margarine or butter with sugar and vanilla, add eggs and stir until smooth. Then enter the cheese, rum and almond flavoring – stir again.

Sift flour with baking powder, add starch, almond flour, salt, knead the dough thoroughly.

Now it is the turn of candied fruit and marzipan – the result is quite thick, but not dough.

Form grease with butter and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. We spread our dough, slightly primina, filling all cavity.

Bake about an hour at 180˚C.

The finished muffins are slightly cooled, remove from the mold and sprinkle with powdered sugar. You can eat immediately, but you can wrap it in foil and send to "ripen" in the refrigerator so all the flavors soak each other and the taste of the cake will be more flavorful and balanced!
