Muffins Piquant with ginger
These muffins to a whole range of flavors - sweet, spicy, citrus. They are gentle and moderately humid. And very tasty!

Ingredients

  • Flour

    175 г

  • Leavening agent

    1/2 ч. л.

  • Chicken egg

  • Rhubarb

    150 г

  • Ginger

    1 шт

  • Jam

    120 г

  • Sugar

    125 г

  • Salt

    1/4 ч. л.

  • Butter

    100 г

  • Milk

    125 мл

Rhubarb peel and finely chop. When cooking muffins, I used the jam Mahe "Lemon".

Ginger root peel and RUB on a small grater. Half of the ginger root will be used for the test, the other half for topping the muffins.

Mix the flour, sugar (75 g), baking powder and salt. In another bowl mix well the milk, jam, half of the grated ginger root, egg and melted butter.

Add flour mixture, stir until smooth. Add rhubarb. The dough will be quite liquid.

Put the dough in molds. In a separate bowl, mix the remaining sugar and the ginger root, add the melted butter. You should get a crumb.

Sprinkle muffins the resulting ginger-sugar baby and send them in a pre-heated to 180 degrees oven for about 40 minutes, until Browning.
