Ginger cookies
I bring to your attention the recipe is very tasty, crispy and delicious cookies! In grocery stores, "IKEA" is on sale this spicy cookies, I have long wanted to try to cook it yourself! And so, I still found the recipe as close as possible to the original! Cookies to taste and the structure turns out just like store-bought and, most importantly, without any chemicals!


  • Flour

    200 g

  • Soda

    1.5 tsp

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Ginger

    2 tsp

  • Cinnamon

    1 tsp

  • Cardamom

    1 tsp

  • Carnation

    0.5 tsp

  • Butter

    100 g

  • Sugar

    110 g

  • Honey

    3 tsp


The first thing we need to grind into powder spice! You can, of course, just to get crushed, but I didn't have it, we had the cardamom and cloves with a rolling pin to pound in the pot)))
Further to the obtained powder add ground ginger and soda
Then add flour
In a separate bowl, RUB with a mixer the butter and sugar
Then there also add eggs and honey, previously slightly warmed. In fact, the recipe was suggested to take syrup, but I didn't have and decided to replace honey. All beat!
Now add the flour into the egg-butter mixture and mix well. The dough directly into the eyes becomes intense brown color.
Knead well the dough with your hands and put into the fridge for 1.5 to 2 hours. At first the dough will be slightly soft, but after cold it can be easy to roll out!
Then roll out the dough quite thinly and cut out shapes of figures!
Out of this number ingredients I got 4 baking trays of cookies! So that you can safely take half the rules! Another is to say that the dough is quite fragile - when the wrong movement is falling apart, very carefully, preferably with help of a spatula, place on a baking sheet!
Protiven grease with vegetable oil and lay out biscuits. Put it into the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes. Baked very quickly! Most importantly, do not be distracted, but it will burn instantly! Should be removed as soon as the top starts Browning!
So look of the finished cookies! First, they are soft on top, but after a couple of minutes harden and become crispy!
