Ketchup with plums
With such a name this recipe to me when it caught my eye. Author I don't remember, but very grateful for it. This ketchup sauce is very versatile, I use it in pizza and as a sauce for pasta and meat, and even just smeared on bread - very tasty!

Ingredients

  • Tomato

    2 kg

  • Drain

    1 kg

  • Onion

    250 g

  • Salt

    1.5 Tbsp

  • Sugar

    200 g

  • Vinegar

    2 Tbsp

  • Garlic

    100 g

  • Peppers red hot chilli

    2 piece

  • The mixture of peppers

    0.5 tsp

  • Greens

Cooking

Clean the plums and kernels. Onion peel and chop. Scald the tomatoes with boiling water, remove skins and cut out the stem.

Skip all the ingredients in a meat grinder. I took the small grid, as in the photo.

Peel the garlic and spicy green pepper.

Received tomato-plum-onion puree combine in a saucepan and ovarium for 2 hours on low heat.

Mince garlic, hot pepper and herbs. In the future add ketchup, salt, sugar, Bay leaf, pepper mix and chopped — greens, garlic, hot pepper. Pour in the vinegar and cook the ketchup for another 30-50 minutes, until thick. Bay leaf remove. Pour into clean sterilized jars, roll up, turn and wrap to cool.

Output more than 2 liters. Banks and ketchup are perfectly stored in the apartment.
