Description
Original name of Bayerische Dampfnudeln. I saw a recipe with this title on the website, but I they are not. These buns are cooked in a frying pan (no oven!!!) for a few, they are insanely delicious! They can be cooked in a saucepan -double boiler, in a conventional pot with a nozzle to dishes steamed in bamboo steamer. Served with all the sweet sauces, but you can instead of bread. Sooo recommend!!!

Cooking
In warm milk dissolve yeast, add sugar, egg, a pinch of salt, gradually add flour and knead the dough.
Leave the dough to rise for 1 hour in a warm place.
The dough should double in size. To press down.
Ready divide the dough into balls, I got 9 pieces.
In a frying pan with a thick bottom, melt a knob of butter and pour in half a Cup of milk. In the milk add sugar and vanilla essence to taste.
Put the rolls on a pan and put on fire, be sure to cover tightly (in any case not to open!!!). When it boils, lower the heat to low.
Within 30 minutes the cover is not open, and then you could see the top of the buns when pressed should be firm. Cover with a lid (the lid wipe from moisture to dripping on bread rolls), you can leave until then, until the brioche has absorbed all the liquid.
Finished rolls on a platter. Serve with jam, syrup, compote, the author of the original - with custard.
I ate with strawberry jam, delicious!
Rolls very well cooked, the bottom was a little fried.
