Today I decided to go on a visit to the Finns and cook a traditional Finnish Christmas salad. Was very tasty! In my opinion, very good replacement of the more usual "Herring under a fur coat". For the contest "new year tastes of the planet"

Cooking
To start, boil the potatoes in their skins and eggs. If you have already cooked, the salad can be made in minutes. So ... herring Fillets cut into pieces. Not very large, but shallow.
Cut onion into strips, if you really "evil", rinse with cold water.
Boiled eggs, divided whites and yolks. Squirrels cut into cubes, until the yolks to the side.
Apple cut into cubes with the peel on.
For the filling, to the yolks add the olive oil, mustard, sugar, vinegar, salt (a little) and black pepper. Rubs it all until smooth.
Pour in the cream, continuing to pound. It turns out wonderful, very tasty sauce. Here, of course, need to taste and if necessary add what you need (vinegar or sugar or salt).
The salad I was served a La carte. On a plate put lettuce.
And randomly sprinkle the sliced green onions.
