  • Sugar

  • Black pepper

To cook this dish is best in the roaster, a saucepan with a thick bottom or a slow cooker. Beef wash, dry and cut into pieces 2 cm long.

Finely chop the onion and fry until soft in hot lard (or oil).

Chop the garlic and add to the onions.

Immediately pour the paprika.

Lay out the prepared slices of meat, season with salt and pepper, add thyme and wine, stir, cover and simmer for 1.5 hours.

Add to meat the tomato paste, mix well. In dishes with tomatoes or tomato paste I always add a little sugar, you act at your own discretion.

Bulgarian pepper to wash, peel, cut into cubes and add to meat, stir and simmer for another 30 minutes.
