Vegetable soup with red lentils and rice
Hot nourishing soup! What could be cozier on a cool day. Thick and flavorful, it is so nice after a long day of work or walking outdoors. Bright orange lentils will make Your soup is especially rich, given that it is a source of vegetable protein. Soup with lots of vegetables, and a storehouse of fiber and vitamins.

Ingredients

  • Lentils

  • Garlic

  • Olive oil

  • Oregano

Cooking

Measure the amount of lentils, rinse under running water. Similarly to do with rice.

In a saucepan with a thick bottom fry in olive oil the chopped garlic, onion, celery and carrots.

While fried vegetables cut into cubes zucchini (or zucchini) and tomatoes.

Add the chopped vegetables to the pan and simmer until the vegetables are soft 10 minutes.
