Bulgur Turkish
Bulgur... long been popular in Turkey and only recently came to the Russian market. Prepare a delicious and healthy side dish.

Ingredients

  • Bulgur

    1 cup

  • Tomato

    2 piece

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Pepper green

    2 piece

  • Garlic

    3 tooth

  • Broth

    1.5 cup

  • Tomato paste

    0.5 Tbsp

  • Butter

    2 Tbsp

  • Olive oil

    1 Tbsp

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

Cooking

Onion, garlic, pepper finely chop.

Tomatoes grate.

In a deep frying pan heat the olive and butter. Add the onion and fry until soft.

Add the garlic, then the pepper.

After a couple of minutes add the tomatoes, tomato paste, a little water. Stir, cover. Simmer for 10-13 minutes.

Rinse the bulgur (if necessary), add it to the pan with vegetables, stir.

Pour the broth (or water). Salt, pepper. Close the lid and cook for about 15 minutes. Bulguru allow to stand for 30-40 minutes, covered with a towel or etc
