That's all we need for soup (see ingredients)
Onions and carrots chop coarsely, in a saucepan with a thick bottom fry in olive oil, a little prisolit
Cardamom clear from the green peel, pound in a mortar, add spices, add the mixture to the pan

Add the peas (rinsed and soaked for 15-20 minutes), fry everything together
Pour the hot broth and cook until tender peas (I cooked 1 hour)
For croutons: white bread (preferably stale) cut into cubes
Fry until crisp in oil with garlic and pepper (optional)
Ready soup blend it with a mixer
Add the cream, stir. Season with salt and pepper according to need
