Description

Cream of tomato soup
Smooth, silky, with a pleasant acidity.

Ingredients

  • Butter

    40 g

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Garlic

    3 tooth

  • Tomato

    5 piece

  • Sugar

    1 Tbsp

  • Tomato paste

    2 Tbsp

  • Water

    500 ml

  • Cream

    250 ml

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

Chop the onion, garlic, tomatoes.

In a saucepan melt the butter, add the onion and cook about 4 min.

Add the garlic, tomatoes, sugar and simmer for another minute.

Add the tomato paste, water, cover and bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 20 min.

Whisk the soup in a blender, add the cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
