Ingredients

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Carrots

    1 piece

  • The Apium graveolens Dulce

    1 piece

  • Garlic

    1 tooth

  • Potatoes

    800 g

  • Shellfish

    300 g

  • Vegetable oil

    2 Tbsp

  • Bay leaf

    1 piece

  • Black pepper

    5 piece

  • Salt

    1 pinch

  • Bacon

    100 g

Cooking

Vegetables peel and chop smaller. You can slightly grind them using a food processor. Bacon cut into cubes. Potatoes also peel and cut into small cubes. In a pot heat 2 tbsp oil and fry the bacon for 1 minute.

Add the vegetables and fry everything together for another 3-4 minutes.

To vegetable mixture, put the clams along with the entire liquid released after thawing. Mix well.

Add to the pan the sliced potatoes and stir.

Fill the rest with hot water to just cover the potatoes. Place the Bay leaf, season with salt to taste and put a pea black pepper. Cook the soup approximately 20 minutes or until potatoes are done.

At the end of the mash the potatoes with a wooden spoon or just a fork, to give the soup more smooth consistency similar to soup. To give the soup a little brew and... enjoy a delicious and aromatic combination of vegetables, clams and bacon!
