Winter soup with smoked ribs
Winter this soup because it is very thick and rich - in cold weather there is nothing better than a hot hearty soup. Usually I make soup with smoked meat only with peas, but now decided to add the lentils and the pumpkin (when it will end already!!). It was very tasty.

Ingredients

  • Peas

    1 cup

  • Lentils

    0.5 cup

  • Pumpkin

    300 g

  • Potatoes

    2 piece

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Carrots

    1 piece

  • Pork ribs

    500 g

  • Spices

  • Cream

    100 ml

In 3 liters of water to boil meat (1 hour). Salt. Add the remaining peas and cook for another hour.

Onion cut into cubes.

Also diced cut potatoes.

Lentils, rinse.

From pumpkin to remove the core, peel and cut into large chunks.

Add to the soup potatoes, squash and lentils. Cook for 15 minutes.

Chop the carrots into rings, pour the onions and carrots in a preheated pan with vegetable oil. Slightly overcook, add to the soup. Cook for another 15 minutes, seasoning with spices.

In a blender, blend the soup into a puree, pre pulling the ribs and Bay leaf, if added. You can add cream, then soup to warm up. Bon appetit!
