Found this recipe a long time ago in the magazine "Recipes for an encore". Really loved this easy to prepare recipe. With minimum fuss you can cook this meat for lunch or dinner. Help yourself!

Ingredients

  • Meat

    1 kg

  • Ketchup

    6 Tbsp

  • Garlic

    1 piece

  • Honey

    2 Tbsp

  • Black pepper

    0.5 tsp

  • Peppers red hot chilli

    0.25 tsp

  • Allspice

    0.5 tsp

  • Salt

  • Vegetable oil

    2 Tbsp

Cooking

The pulp (I had pork) cut into large pieces (about 4 x 4 cm).

Crush the garlic in any convenient way for You.

In a small saucepan put the tomato ketchup, honey and chopped garlic. Over medium heat bring mixture to a liquid state. Disconnect the fire.

Add to the mix the vegetable oil, salt, pepper, red chili, black pepper, allspice, stir.

Pour the sauce into the meat, stir and leave to marinate for 1-2 hours, stirring occasionally.

Put marinated meat in the form (I have ceramic, so I put in a cold oven). Bring to readiness at 180°C (about 40-60 minutes). After 20-25 minutes, once the meat is covered with a beautiful Golden brown, close the form foil.
