Vegetable pilaf with lentils
Yesterday was pilaf with chickpeas Today... completely different.. with lentils.. Tasty... and that is not unimportant, useful)))For the contest "Fast from "Moulinex"".

Ingredients

  • Figure

    0.5 cup

  • Lentils

    0.5 cup

  • Carrots

    1 piece

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Tomatoes in own juice

    0.5 cup

  • Spices

  • Garlic

    1 tooth

  • Turmeric

    0.5 tsp

  • Vegetable oil

    2 Tbsp

  • Water

    1.5 cup

Cooking

Onions and carrots..finely chop and simmer in small amount of water(Or you can pre-fry in vegetable oil)

Add the lentils..rice...tomatoes (pre-chopped)Or tomato juice..1.5 cups of water..(If you do not add tomato juice or tomato...of Water, take 2 cups)...Salt..pepper..Garlic cut into slices..Add to the pilaf...Then turmeric..

Bring to a boil...extinguish the fire...and on low heat ..simmer under the lid closed..20 minutes..do Not stir!!!

After 20 minutes..Rice and beans all the water took...Remove from heat..sprinkle with herbs and garlic......Close the lid and leave the pilaf to breathe ..another 5-8 minutes...Then mix..
