Millet soup with garlic
I offered to prepare exceptionally delicate and yet extremely useful millet soup for variety of vegetarian menu or for fasting days. Also, if you have small capricious, this soup will satisfy even him.

Ingredients

  • Millet

    0.5 cup

  • Water

    1.5 l

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Carrots

    1 piece

  • Garlic

    4 tooth

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

  • Greens

  • Olive oil

Millet, rinse, cover with water and boil until soft.

Cut onion finely. Carrots to RUB on a large grater.

Onions and carrots add to the pot with the millet and cook for 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

To grind the garlic with a pinch of salt in a mortar. If there is no mortar, you can squeeze in a garlic press.

After 10 minutes add greens and garlic. Remove from heat, cover with a lid and allow to infuse for 5 minutes.

Pour the soup into a bowl and add 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil first pressed extra-virgin. And enjoy useful and easy soup.
