Baked cream of pumpkin
Original and flavored dessert made from pumpkins. Delicate texture and unforgettable taste. Preparing is not difficult, and is eaten very quickly.

Ingredients

  • Pumpkin

    1.2 kg

  • Brown sugar

    300 g

  • Chicken egg

    4 piece

  • Cinnamon

    1 tsp

  • Ginger

    1 tsp

  • Nutmeg

    0.5 tsp

  • Water

    50 ml

  • Cream

    500 ml

  • Lemon juice

    0.5 Tbsp

Cut pumpkin, remove seeds, place on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Cover top with foil. Bake 1-2 hours depending on the hardness of the pumpkin. She had to completely soften.

With a spoon scrape the pulp, blend it in a blender to cool.

In a saucepan with a thick bottom pour the sugar, add 50 ml of water and few drops of lemon juice.

Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Once boiling, stop mixing and cook until caramel. DO NOT DISTURB!

In the ready caramel pour hot heavy cream and boil a minute and remove from heat.

Mix pumpkin puree with caramel sauce, add spices, mix everything carefully.

One by one stir in eggs.

High-temperature ceramic molds greased with butter. Pour the resulting mass in molds and bake in a preheated 175 degree oven for about 30 minutes. Cool, then chill well.
