Syrup
In the formulation of this syrup is like jam, but as for me, it's watery for jam, so I'll have syrup. The recipe is even in the winter and I was looking forward to flowering lilac to cook it. Turned out fragrant and delicious with a strong honey aftertaste. Help yourself!

Ingredients

  • Flowers

  • Water

    1 l

  • Sugar

    1 kg

  • Lemon

Remove the flowers of the lilac blossoms. Washed, pour 1 liter of water and put on fire.

Allow to simmer on small fire for 10 minutes. The color of broth greenish.

After squeezing the juice from a quarter lemon (can be less) and allow to stand for 20 minutes. The color of the eyes changes.

Then strain the broth, add 1 kg of sugar and boil for 20 minutes.

Hot roll up in banks. I got two cans of 0,5 L.
