Pate herring with cottage cheese and nuts
Delicate herring pate mousse with nutty flavor. Ingredients

  • Herring

    2 piece

  • Milk

    1 cup

  • Cheese

    250 g

  • Butter

    50 g

  • Walnuts

    10 piece

  • Allspice

Herring disassemble fillet (I purchased fillets in oil) and soak in milk for 1-2 hours. To prepare the nuts.

Miss herring with milk, nuts, cottage cheese 2 times through a meat grinder.

Add the softened butter and pepper. Mix and beat in a mixer. Because the oil I was not gentle enough for a curvaceous beater, I skipped through a meat grinder together with other ingredients, and then churned.

Serve on thin slices of bread with contrasting vegetables. You can use rings of olives, but I chose radishes and green onions. Here 2 types of bread: rye and white baguette. Both are good!
