Goulash with sauerkraut
The end of autumn is always famous for... sauerkraut Recipes sauerkraut - big set! Perhaps this recipe will remind someone of the Belarusian bigos... but it's really not about him! Goulash can be frozen and stored 3 months. in the freezer! Prepared based on "Kochen&genisen" - "Hits out of the oven" - 5 /2011.

Ingredients

  • Meat

    500 g

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Spices

  • Tomato juice

    0.5 l

  • Juniper

    5 piece

  • Paprika sweet

    2 Tbsp

  • Bay leaf

    2 piece

  • Potatoes

    600 g

  • Cabbage

    500 g

  • Vegetable oil

    2 Tbsp

  • Black pepper

Cooking

Cut the meat into small pieces and fry in 2 tbsp oil, until it will turn brown.

Season with salt and pepper. Add chopped onion, fry together with the meat. Add ground sweet paprika.

Add 100 ml of water, 500 ml of tomato juice, pepper, juniper berries, Bay leaf. Bring to boil. Cover the pan with a lid (foil) and send in the oven for further baking first 30 minutes

Potatoes cut into cubes, sauerkraut if necessary, rinse and add to meat. Mix well. Bake under a lid in the oven for another 45 min.
