Calzoncini with spinach and cheese
Why calzoncini? Small calzone! A very popular Italian appetizer. Easy to prepare dough. Honestly started going through all 500 pages in search, but on the 120th "broke& amp;quot; couldn't have done more.

Ingredients

  • Cream cheese

    100 g

  • Butter

    100 g

  • Flour

    150 g

  • Spinach

    200 g

  • Soft cheese

    100 g

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Garlic

    1 tooth

  • Olive oil

    1 Tbsp

Cooking

Leave the butter at room temperature (about 30 minutes). Then the cream cheese (I have Philadelphia) mix butter with a fork.

Sift the flour and add the butter and cheese.

Knead elastic dough, wrap it in plastic wrap and refrigerate, preferably overnight.

If the spinach is fresh, wash it and let dry.

Preheat the frying pan with olive oil, add garlic, lightly crushed with a fist on the cutting Board. Add the spinach and saute about 5-8 minutes. Allow to cool and then chop it finely.

Roll out the dough very thin, about 3-4 mm thick. Cut out circles with a diameter of 12 cm.

On one half of the circle put spinach, cubes of cheese.

Close other half of the circle, a good press down with your fingers. Put in freezer for 15-20 minutes. Then apply calzoncini beaten egg. Bake in preheated oven for about 15 minutes at temp. 200°C.
