Lemon cake and yoghurt
Delicate cupcake with a pleasant, aromatic taste of lemon. Thanks for the recipe Paloma-Jamal.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    1.5 cup

  • Leavening agent

    2 tsp

  • Yogurt

    1 cup

  • Sugar

    1.33 cup

  • Salt

    0.5 tsp

  • Chicken egg

    3 piece

  • Lemon peel

    2 tsp

  • Vanilla essence

    0.5 tsp

  • Vegetable oil

    0.5 cup

  • Lemon juice

    0.333 cup

  • Powdered sugar

    1 cup

Cooking

In a bowl, whisk together the yogurt, sugar, eggs,

Lemon zest (I added lemon essence)

And instead of vanilla (vanilla essence)

Slowly beat the dry ingredients into the wet, sifted flour, baking powder and salt.

Add to the dough butter and mix well until the dough becomes homogeneous.

Pour the batter into the prepared forum and bake for about 50 minutes or until wooden stick inserted in center of cupcake will come out clean.

While the cupcake is baking, in a small saucepan, mix juice and sugar syrup.

Heat and simmer until the sugar is completely dissolved and syrup is clear.

When the cake has finished baking, without removing from the mold, pierce the cake with a thin stick in several places and pour over HOT cake syrup.

Let the syrup soak in. Cool completely cupcake. [b]glaze[/b] combine the icing sugar and lemon juice. Cover the cooled cake with icing.
