Thick soup
This soup Crimean tatarskoi cuisine. At its core, it is a beef stew with vegetables with boiled chickpeas. A very tasty dish with a rich taste.

Ingredients

  • Chickpeas

    150 g

  • Beef

    350 g

  • Carrots

    1 piece

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Soy sauce

    1 Tbsp

  • Tomato paste

    1 Tbsp

  • Black pepper

  • Vegetable oil

    2 Tbsp

  • Salt

Cooking

The chickpeas to soak in cold water for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight. Then drain the water and add fresh, boil chickpeas in water for about 2-2. 5 hours, then season with salt and remove from heat. After cooking the chickpeas to keep in the broth in which it cooked (it should be about 500-700 ml).

Beef washed, cleaned from films and cut into large dice.

In a pan heat vegetable oil and fry until Golden brown the beef.

Pour fried slices of beef with water, completely covering her meat. Cover the pan with a lid and simmer the beef for about an hour (if necessary, add water if it's all evaporated). Then add the tomato paste and simmer for another 5 minutes.

Wash peel and dice the carrots, onion peel and finely chop.

Add vegetables to beef stew and cook on low heat, covered for about 20 minutes. It is important to extinguish the remained liquid.

For a couple of minutes before cooking pour a little soy sauce and stir. If necessary, salt.

In the bowl for feeding soup to put the chickpeas with the broth.

On top add beef stew with vegetables and sauce. Serve sprinkled with pepper. Can be complemented with rings of fresh onion. Bon appetit!
