Jam dessert pumpkin and grapefruit
In Bulgarian cuisine has a wonderful recipe for cooking dessert of pumpkin in the form of jam. Today I want to offer a lovely sweet dessert of pumpkin with the addition of grapefruit. This dessert can be eaten with cookies, and stored it in the fridge.

Ingredients

  • Pumpkin

    500 g

  • Grapefruit

    0.5 piece

  • Sugar

    400 g

  • Powdered sugar

    50 g

  • Water

    100 ml

  • Cinnamon

  • Cookies

For starters, clean the pumpkin and cut it cubes.

Mix sugar and powdered sugar. I used powdered sugar Haas, in its composition there is corn starch, which will have an impact on the thickening of the dessert.

In a saucepan heat the water, pour the sugar. Homogeneous syrup.

Pour the chopped pumpkin in the syrup and cook for about 20 minutes.

Peel a grapefruit. To separate the peel, pulp and juice.

Pour the pumpkin peel and flesh. Boil for 15 minutes. Pour the juice and boil for another 5-7 minutes. For flavor you can add a little cinnamon. Cool and grind in a blender until smooth.
