Lentil soup with tomatoes
Lentils are an indispensable product for Lenten table. Want to offer a delicious version of the soup with it.

Ingredients

  • Lentils

    300 g

  • Potatoes

    2 piece

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Dried tomatoes

    100 g

  • Garlic

    2 tooth

  • Zira

    0.5 tsp

  • Ramsons

    3 sprig

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

  • Vegetable oil

    50 ml

Cooking

Peel the potatoes and cut into cubes. Boil the potatoes (amount of water depends on Your desired thickness of soup)

Cut onion finely and fry in vegetable oil until Golden brown.

Add the lentils and fry, stirring, about 3 minutes.

When the potato is ready, add the lentils with onions and tomatoes. Cook until the lentils are tender. Salt.

1 tbsp vegetable oil to fry the whole garlic cloves and cumin.

Remove the garlic and cumin and Bay leaf and add to the soup, turn off the heat, cover and let infuse for 30 minutes.

Before serving, sprinkle with herbs and pepper.
