Cooking
To marinate the meat. Better to do this step the night before or day of. To do this, my meat, my steak, dry it, put in a suitable container, add ground cumin, Basil, soy sauce and olive oil. Carefully RUB the meat, cover and refrigerate.
Get the pickled meat, cut it into strips. Heat the pan, add sesame oil and fry the meat first on high heat then on medium until tender. For me, the process took 20 minutes in the wok.
White onion peel. We cut half rings. Put in a small container, pour soy sauce, mix and leave to marinate. If You have a regular onion, marinade it the night before, scald with boiling water before you pour soy sauce. I use soy sauce TM Kikkoman.
Shinkuem cabbage, a little salt and mash with your hands to release the juice. Add the greens and soy sauce.
Pureed or chopped tomatoes in its own juice, spread in a suitable container, add garlic, passed through a garlic press, and chopped green onions. Stir.
Slightly cooled cooked meat cut into small enough pieces.
Natural yoghurt or mayonnaise spread in a container, add the dill and garlic, passed through chesnokodavku. Add salt according to your taste.
Lay out the lavash. Prepare all the ingredients.
Spread on pita bread, as pictured, mayonnaise/yoghurt sauce.
Capers. I love capers, but in the absence thereof sometimes added to the Shawarma pickles, cut them into strips average.
And finally, tomato sauce.
Collapsible pita. The filling should be not small, but not too much to Shawarma has not collapsed.
So we turn off all pitas. Shawarma is ready. Bon appetit!!! PS you Can fry the prepared Doner kebab in the grill, but the wait was powerless.
