Classic English muffins
I fell in love with these muffins the first time, simple to prepare and tastes mild sweet.

Ingredients

  • Milk

    200 g

  • Butter

    100 g

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Sugar

    100 g

  • Flour

    360 g

  • Leavening agent

    1 pack

  • Salt

    0.5 tsp

Cooking

Sift the flour into a bowl, then add sugar, baking powder, a pinch of salt. Stir.

Melt the butter, add the egg, milk, mix well (ideally, in a separate bowl, but I did all in one). Mix well dry and liquid ingredients.

It turns out the liquid mixture, allow to infuse for 20 minutes (I did fast and did not insist).

Pour in silicone forms (if the form is not silicone, it needs to be lubricated), our muffins will rise, so don't give refills to the top. Put it into the preheated oven.

Bake at 200 degrees for 20 minutes.
